Trump Profits IMMENSELY From New Year’s Party At His Mar-A-Lago Resort

Trump is not a politician, nor is he fit to lead our country. He’s a businessman and now it seems all but impossible for him to separate himself from his business interests. This will cause a lot of conflicts of interest.

“We have never had a president with these enormous business conflicts domestically and globally,” said Norman Eisen, who served as President Barack Obama’s first White House ethics czar. “What’s more, we’ve never had a president who seems to insist on breaking the precedent set by every previous president for at least four decades of doing a true blind trust or its equivalent.”

Trump has said he would step away from his multibillion dollar empire in order to serve as President of the United States, yet he will be profiting from people by selling access to himself at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida for a special party to bring in the New Year.

The party is only for members that are able to pay the $525 entry fee, and according to the staff the event has sold out.

Trump’s team says there is no conflict of interest and nothing inappropriate is going to happen, “The transition is not concerned about the appearance of a conflict. This is an annual celebratory event at the private club, like others that have continued to occur since the election. Additionally, the president cannot and does not have a conflict.”

Although his team says that there is no conflict, the law says otherwise. Trump is forbidden to profit from anything related to his office, if he is profiting from attending this party, that is a conflict and a constitutional violation.
