Trump Received At Brussels With A Crowd Full Of Protestors
Donald Trump, who had called Brussels a “hellhole” once, made his visit to the country where he was received by a very large group of protestors.
Thousands of protestors roamed the streets of Brussels on Wednesday after Trump made his arrival.
According to police, over 9,000 people were at the protest, waving banners that read “Trump not welcome.”
“He called Brussels a hellhole and yet he comes here like a conqueror,” leftwing protester Yannick Blaise told AFP.
Some wore t-shirts saying “Make Humanity Great Again” and “Donald Back to USSR.”
Trump said during his campaign that the Belgian capital was a “hellhole” ruined by Muslim immigration.
Trump’s trip to Belgium was to meet with the country’s King, Philippe, and Queen Mathilde.
