Donald Trump, the man who praises himself more than anyone in this world and calls himself a “very stable genius,” has failed his first year in office, according to a new poll.
A Quinnipiac University Poll asked survey-takers to give Trump a letter grade for his first year in office. The majority of them gave Trump a failing grade.
According to the poll, only 16% gave Trump an “A,” while 39% gave him an “F” and 17% gave him a “D.”
“It’s been a very tough freshman year for President Donald Trump, by any measure,” Tim Malloy, the assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement about the survey.
The poll also asked survey-takers if they approved of the job Trump has done in the past year. Only 36% approved, while 59% said they disapprove of the job he’s done.
Pollsters spoke with voters nationwide from January 5-9 by phone for the survey. Its margin of error is 3.6 percentage points.
