Trump Revoked An Obama Order To Improve Flood Protection Two Weeks Before Hurricane Harvey: Report

As people in Texas look for help after the devastating Hurricane Harvey hit, a report is revealing that Donald Trump did away with an Obama executive order that enforced flood protection just two weeks prior to the storm.

Trump expressed multiple times that climate change is a hoax and he has also expressed how much he wants to undo everything former president Barrack Obama did. So, put both of those together and you get a giant disaster.

According to GQ, “Donald Trump rescinded Obama era executive order 13690. And what did this order do? It set out to strengthen our nation’s flood preparedness, by instituting stricter standards on how flood-ready federally-funded projects near floodplains had to be.”

Trump tweeted out after the hurricane:

“HISTORIC rainfall in Houston, and all over Texas. Floods are unprecedented, and more rain coming. Spirit of the people is incredible. Thanks!”

But it was Trump himself who made the country less prepared for this situation by removing the Obama-era order.

How can a man be so incompetent and still be the leader of the free world?
