The job market is looking harsh for anyone who has or is currently working for the Trump administration. According to a new report, many White House staffers are looking for a way out but are having trouble finding anyone who would hire them.
According to inside sources that spoke with BuzzFeed News, “many mid- and low-level staffers are anxious to leave and are actively looking for jobs elsewhere.” They saw the abrupt departure of White House communications director Hope Hicks as a “tipping point.”
One former Trump staffer told BuzzFeed that the job market isn’t what it used to be.
“I’ve talked to several people in the last week trying to find a way out, but they can’t get out because no one is really hiring people with Trump White House experience,” the source told BuzzFeed. “Not a fun time to say the least.”
The staffer also admitted that “things are still pretty bleak” inside the administration.
Another source close to the White House also spoke with BuzzFeed and said that people inside the Trump administration “has lost Hope.”
