Trump Supportes Have Spoken, Majority Believe The ‘Bowling Green Massacre’ Justifies Travel Ban
Donald Trump’s travel ban was justified by his adviser Kellyanne Conway who used a nonexistent massacre to prove that the ban needed to happen. Unbelievably, more than half of the people that supported the ban say it is justified after the nonexistent “Bowling Green Massacre,” according to a new poll by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling(PPP).
Conway was first heard mentioning the Bowling Green Massacre during an interview on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews.” She then apologized and said she made a mistake, although she did bring up again multiple times.
PPP shows that 51% of Americans who supported Trump’s travel ban though the fake massacre was good reason to instate the executive order that keeps seven Muslim-majority nations from entering the US. And only 23% of those Americans thought the massacre was an unreliable source.
Trump’s order is only supported by 45% of Americans, while 49% do not agree with the president’s order. The polling also found that 48% considered the executive order to be a Muslim ban, only 43% said it was not.
The polling also found that 66% of Americans thought the order was poorly executed, while only 27% though it was carried out perfectly.
The executive order has currently been rejected by an appeals court and Trump is now pending a court battle to reinstate the order.
