Trump Threatens To Jail FBI Officials Who Investigated Russia Interference, Gets Brutal Response
Using his Attorney General William Barr as a hitman, President Donald Trump began laying the groundwork to jail his perceived enemies as the Justice Department follows his order to investigate the origins of the Russia probe.
Barr has asked U.S. Attorneys to examine how the counterintelligence and FBI investigations began and has refused to turn over the unredacted report from special counsel Robert Mueller, who has a recording of a person “connected to” Congress attempting to influence Michael Flynn’s testimony.
U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ordered the government Thursday to provide a public transcript of a voice mail message from Trump’s attorney reminding the former national security adviser of the president’s fondness for him, when Flynn was considering cooperation with Mueller’s team.
Trump reacted by citing a Fox News poll showing “58 percent of people say that the FBI broke the law” by investigating him, and calling for investigators to be jailed for “treason.”
My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on. Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!

Twitter users were quick to respond, and it wasn’t pretty.
Spoken like a true fascist.

We only see ONE person guilty of TREASON, and that's you…
Unless you count all of the unindicted co-conspirators, all the people who WERE indicted, all the people who plead guilty, and all those who CONTINUE to cover your treasonous tracks.

Trump is a deranged dictator who wants to abuse his power to exact retribution on his enemies. He sounds exactly like a Joseph Stalin screaming “TREASON!” and it’s damn scary.

Treason is the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the head of state or overthrow the government.
Cooperating with a foreign adversary to undermine democracy is treason. Investigating wether someone cooperated with a foreign adversary is not.

REMINDER: 17 hours after firing FBI director Comey over the Russia investigation, Russian photographers took these photos of Trump w/ Russian govt officials inside our WH — all U.S. press were banned from attending.
(we only know because Russia released photos)

2019: The President of the United States is demanding long jail sentences for FBI officials who investigated threats from a hostile foreign adversary

Follow me for a sec, homefry. Russian operatives were targeting your Campaign to try to infiltrate and influence the outcome of American elections, a pillar of our democracy. Do you want our intelligence community ignoring these efforts and letting foreign governments attack us?
