Donald Trump gave his first public remarks on Thursday after his former adviser Roger Stone was sentenced to 40 months in prison for lying to Congress and witness tampering.
Trump was speaking to a crowd in Las Vegas when he began spreading conspiracies about the jury that found Stone guilty.
He first started by claiming that Stone was a “good person” that was “never involved” in his campaign.
Then Trump switched his attention to the jury, who he claimed were a group of “biased women.”
“It’s totally tainted when you take a look,” Trump said, referring to the forewoman and the jury. ‘How can you have a person like this? She was an anti-Trump activist — can you imagine this?”
