Caught In a Blatant Lie, Trump Tweets Some New Lies To Defend Previous Lie

President Donald Trump is ranting online about America’s trade deficit with Canada even though the United States does not have a trade deficit with Canada. In fact, the United States runs a $12 billion total trade surplus with Canada, according to the US Trade Representative’s official statistics.

But Trump says otherwise!

After admitting that he lied when discussing international trade with Canada, Trump on Thursday tweeted some new lies about America’s trade with Canada.

“We do have a Trade Deficit with Canada, as we do with almost all countries (some of them massive). P.M. Justin Trudeau of Canada, a very good guy, doesn’t like saying that Canada has a Surplus vs. the U.S.(negotiating), but they do…they almost all do…and that’s how I know!” Trump ranted on Twitter.

Trump’s tweet comes less than 24 hours after he admitted he had “no idea” what he was talking about when discussing international trade with America’s most important regional ally.
