Trump’s Case For A Border Wall Has Just Been Thrown Out The Window

Donald Trump likes to promote his border wall by claiming that most, if not all, of the drug flow coming to the United States, comes from the southern border. But that theory has just been gravely debunked.

Trump said during one of his rallies that Democrats lie when it comes to how drugs reach the U.S. “We have tremendous amounts of drugs flowing into our country,” Trump said in February. “Much of it coming from the southern border, when you look and when you listen to politicians, particularly certain Democrats, they say ‘It all comes through the ports of entry.’ Wrong, it’s wrong. It’s just a lie. It’s all a lie. They say, ‘Walls don’t work.’ Walls work 100 percent.”

We don’t want to burst Trump’s bubble (yes we do), but on Tuesday, the biggest cocaine bust in U.S. history happened at a port of entry in Philadelphia.

According to law enforcement, the shipping container traveled from Chile, Panama and the Bahamas, NBC Philadelphia reported.

“The massive cache of drugs could have a street value between $350 million and $750 million at $25,000-50,000 per kilo,” sources told NBC10.

“Homeland Security Investigations and Customs and Border Protection are leading a multi-agency inspection of shipping containers aboard a merchant ship at the Port of Philadelphia,” ICE said in a statement. “We will release additional details when it is appropriate to do so.”

Trump won’t speak about this bust and he won’t stop fearmongering his supporters. He will continue to lie to the American people about immigrants and he will continue to dehumanize immigrants in any way he can.

What won’t also happen is Trump’s wall getting built. Trump won’t receive his wall just because he throws child-like tantrums filled with lies.
