In a highly-anticipated primetime TV interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” aired Sunday, adult actress Stormy Daniels said that she was threatened in a bid to keep her silent about her alleged fling with Donald Trump.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, spoke about her affair with Donald Trump, telling host Anderson Cooper that she had unprotected sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 and was threatened by a man in a parking lot in Las Vegas when she agreed to tell her story in 2011.
“A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story. And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”
Last week, MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch warned of the consequences on the Trump presidency if Daniels confirms that she was threatened with physical harm.
“Is it fair to say, legal aside, if Stormy Daniels comes out and says that she was…physically threatened harm by either the president himself or somebody very close, that, and it seems to be credible, that, in and of itself would bring down this presidency, with what is going on in the world right now,” Deutsch said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Well, Daniels just confirmed that she was threatened. Certainly Stormy skies ahead for President Trump.
