Donald Trump is more disliked with every second that passes by. His approval ratings are hitting new lows every week. This week was not an exception for the president.
According to a Quinnipiac University survey, Trump’s approval ratings have hit new lows. His number right now is at 35% approval, while 57% of Americans show a disapproval for the president.
When the same poll was conducted about a month ago Trump’s approval rating at 41 percent. Trump’s approval rating went down a whole 6 points in a timespan of less than a month.
But what’s causing Trump to receive such low ratings? Well, according to the Quinnipiac survey, several of Trump’s personal qualities are prompting negative reactions from respondents.
In the survey, people were asked if Trump cared about average Americans, if he was level headed, and if he was honest. In all those categories Trump did not score well with poll takers.
57% said he doesn’t care about average Americans, 66% said he’s not level headed, and 61% agree that he is not an honest man.
Quinnipiac conducted its latest survey of 1,171 registered voters nationwide via cellphone and landline telephone interviews from March 30 to April 3. It has a 2.9 percentage point margin of error.
