Trump’s White House Is Getting Paperwork Ready To Pardon The Most Racist Sheriff In America

Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, also known as the most racist Sheriff in America, was convicted of criminal contempt of court after defying a 2011 court order to stop apprehending suspected undocumented immigrants. But now Donald Trump is coming to his rescue.

According to a CNN report, Trump’s White House is getting paperwork ready to pardon Arpaio.

Trump shared his support for the racist Sheriff on Tuesday’s rally in Phoenix, saying that Arpaio should not be put in prison for “enforcing the law” and “working to keep people safe.”

Trump did not directly pardon Arpaio during the rally because it would cause “controversy,” but signaled that he would eventually do so.

“I won’t do it tonight because I don’t want to cause any controversy, all right,” Trump said. “But Sheriff Joe can feel good.”

According to the courts, Arpaio methods were ruled as racial profiling and should be punished for it.

Arpaio is scheduled for his sentencing in October. He’s looking at probably spending the next six months of his life in jail, but Trump seems to have different plans.

According to a CNN report from earlier this week, Trump has not spoken to the Justice Department about his decision to pardon Arpaio. But by law Trump is not required to go through the Justice Department in order to make his decision.

It speaks for itself that Trump would want to pardon a racist from going to jail for doing something wrong.
