On Sunday afternoon, the National Rifle Association (NRA) released the latest in a line of threatening videos on Twitter, this time twisting the #TimesUp slogan for their own cheap gain ahead of the evening’s Academy Awards ceremony.
In the video, unsuccessful actress-turned-NRA-flamethrower Dana Loesch delivers an unhinged screed about “Hollywood phonies” who care about children being killed, raging at the TV as actors talk about the nation’s avoidable epidemic of gun violence.
“We’ve had enough of the lies, the sanctimony, the arrogance, the hatred, the pettiness, the fake news,” she says.
“So to every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents, to the politicians who would rather watch America burn than lose one once of their own personal power, to the late night hosts who think their opinions are the only opinions that matter, to the Joy-Ann Reids, the Morning Joes, the Mikas, to those who stain honest reporting with partisanship, to those who bring bias and propaganda to CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, your time is running out,” Loech says, as cliched Western-style music plays.
“The clock starts now,” she concludes, flipping over an oversized (and unnecessary) hourglass.

Twitter users were not impressed:
Let’s get one thing clear: I actually bore arms in uniform. Dana poses in cocktail dresses with guns. I’m not interested in a lecture on guns from a damn spokesmodel. https://t.co/O1vmmoR8Eo

Jeez, maybe if you’d hired one of those Hollywood elites, they could have made you a less crappy ad.

Are you threatening the majority of the United States @DLoesch ? Sure seems like it. Calling for the silence of Free Speech ? You are one scary person.

One day you'll realize you made other people's deaths your life's work.
I hope it will have been worth it.

What she just described is the GOP and Fox News.

What happens when the sand runs out? Do we find out that Dana Loesch is actually one continuous neck with a chin drawn on by Guillermo del Toro's movie make-up artist? Please, do tell!⌛️

Um… that’s not a clock. It’s an hourglass. And who hurt you? You are the angriest little girl I’ve ever seen. Please cancel your reality show. Nobody wants to see that.

So the clock runs out and then what? What is she threatening to do?

No one watches nra-tv except a few of their members.@DLoesch is trying to make herself relevant by tweeting her hate mongering, just like Tomi Lauren
See how the 2 act the same, talk the same, yell a lot. It’s sad really. They think it’s showing strength, but no.
