One of Donald Trump’s most famous Twitter mishaps happened more than two years ago when the president tweeted the word “covfefe.” People all over were wondering what was going on through the president’s head that he would type that.
“Despite the constant negative press covfefe,” the president tweeted more than two years ago.
Trump replied to a tweet by Fox Business contributor Mitch Roschelle, who shared a story about a horse with the name “Covfefe” who won a race.

Trump replied by saying there was a deeper meaning to his word.
“Great! But how do you know it was a ‘mistweet?’” Trump tweeted. “Maybe something with deep meaning!”
Great! But how do you know it was a “mistweet?” May be something with deep meaning! https://t.co/00EXMCgQLp

People on Twitter decided to troll Trump for his explanation:
Still on that. Poor baby can't even admit he put his phone in his pocket in the middle of drafting a tweet. The fragility is overwhelming.

You have the writing skills of a five year old.
‘Deep meaning’, you can barely articulate.
Give it a rest, you absolute lemon.

If you tweeted it, that rules out any chance of ‘deep meaning’.

We know because you are not capable of deep meaning.

His cult members will totally believe ‘covfefe’ had some secret deep meaning. Because they’re fucking idiots. https://t.co/CbwqCiPvOR
