The investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign being involved with Russia during the election continues to heat up. Now, up to 39 states may have jurisdiction over the potential Trump/Russia election crimes.
Ari Melber said on MSNBC on Thursday:
“It puts a brick wall up against the idea that he might be able to circumvent the entire investigation. As you mentioned, we reported first on The Beat on Tuesday night that a state attorney general was already looking at Russia jurisdiction, and second, there are a host of places, at least up to thirty-nine states that would at least have an argument for jurisdiction because of election related hacking.”
Trump could be in huge trouble and he won’t be able to pardon himself out of this one.
Trump’s pardon power will be useless if state charges are fired. Special Counsel Robert Mueller has created a fail safe into the investigation in order to keep Trump from killing the federal investigation.
Trump belongs behind bars, not in the White House.
