A sheriff’s deputy was arrested this week in Henrico County, Virginia after allegedly beating his son in the head with his work gun.
According to Richmond’s WRIC News, 40-year-old deputy Turon Johnson Senior was showing his 15-year-old son “what it meant to be a thug” before he started beating him with on the head with his work gun.
The attack left Johnson’s son unconscious and bleeding from the wound, according to the report.
Johnson was suspended from his job at the Richmond Sheriff’s Office. He was forced to turn over the service revolver allegedly used in the attack along with his badge.
According to WRIC News, the deputy was released on a $4,000 bail with a no-contact order from the judge.
