Watch: Cop Caught Taunting Innocent Black Man: ‘You’d Be The First One I’d Shoot’

A video recorded on cell phone caught a policeman taunting an innocent black man by saying, “you’d be the first one I’d shoot if I had a gun.”

The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that the video shows an unnamed West Midlands Police officer in the U.K. taunting a man whose apartment they were searching.

The video reveals the officer asking the man recording why he did not immediately open the door for them.

“Because I was f**king half-asleep,” he responds. “I didn’t know who you was…You were climbing up the window like thieves.”

“You’re going to go Black Lives Matter on us, are you?” one of the officers asks, to which the video’s recorder responds, “Yeah!”

After the man responded, one of the officers said that he’d be “the first one I’d shoot if I had a gun.”

The Assistant Chief Constable Alex Murray, a spokesman for the West Midlands Police, sent out a public apology after the video went viral.
