Watch: Kellyanne Conway Repeatedly Avoids Russia Questions Then Gets In Heated Exchange With CNN Host
Top Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway made an appearance on CNN Friday to do what anybody working for Trump would do, avoid important questions to make Donald Trump seem like a saint.
Conway was asked multiple times about a new report by The Washington Post, which show the furthest evidence that Putin gave order to hack the DNC in order to help Trump win the election. Each time she ignored the question.
At first, Conway insisted that Trump was against all kinds of interference in American elections, but then she attacked Democrats, saying that they had done as much as the Russians to interfere by downplaying Trump’s chances at electoral victory last fall.
“The president has said previously… that he would be concerned about anybody interfering with our democracy,” she said. “We saw a lot of people interfering with our democracy by saying he couldn’t win here at home.”
CNN host Alisyn Camerota kept on insisting that Conway was not answering her questions about Russia. Then Conway went on to sway away from the subject.
“Alisyn, I realize we just like to say the word ‘Russia, Russia’ to mislead the voters,” Conway replied. “And I know that CNN is aiding and abetting this nonsense as well, but you’ve asked me this question three times now…”
“And you’re not answering it, Kellyanne!” an exasperated Camerota shot back.
