Watch: Neo-Nazi Senator Slaps Teenage Protester After Being Hit In The Head With Egg
Australian Senator Fraser Anning, who defended the terrorist attack at two mosques that left 49 people dead, was caught on video slapping a 17-year-old boy after being egged during a meeting at Moorabbin, Melbourne.
After the confrontation, a member of staff then gets in between the two, while others tackle the teen to the ground where he was held in a choke-hold.
Anning hit headlines yesterday for his comments regarding the Christchurch terror attack, which left 49 people dead.
In a statement, Anning blamed Muslims – who were the target of the attack – and immigration for the sickening attack.
He said: “As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that the causes of today’s shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all clichéd nonsense.
“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslims to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”
Adding: “Let us be clear, while Muslims may have been the victims today, usually they are the perpetrators. Worldwide, Muslims are killing people in the name of their faith on an industrial scale.”
The senator was widely slammed for his comments, with many accusing him of Islamophobia.
Among those slating Anning was Aussie Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who said: “I would normally not want to give this any oxygen, but I want to absolutely and completely denounce the statements made by Senator Anning … on this horrendous terrorist attack, with issues of immigration, in his attack on Islamic faith specifically.”
While British home secretary Sajid Javid tweeted to say: “At a time for grieving and reflection, this Australian senator… fans the flames of violence and extremism.
“Australians will be utterly ashamed of this racist man. In no way does he represent our Australian friends.”
The teen, who hasn’t been named, was led away by cops. A spokesperson from Victoria Police told ABC a 17-year-old was arrested but was later released pending further investigation.

A fundraising page has already been set up to raise cash to cover the teen’s legal bills, should he accrue any, as well as cover the cost of ‘more eggs’.
Meanwhile, an online petition calling for Anning to be removed from office has picked up more than 350,000 signatures in less than a day.
