WATCH: Obama Just Blasted The GOP’s Plan To Destroy Healthcare In America

The Republican Party have been planning to get rid of the Affordable Care Act since it became a law. Now that they have the power to do so they will stop at nothing to destroy the healthcare system in America.

Former President Barack Obama spoke out against the GOP’s effort to repeal his signature ACA. Obama gave a speech at the Gates Foundation, where he admitted that Obamacare wasn’t perfect and that it needed to be fixed, but repealing it all together would be a disaster.

“But it was better, so when I see people trying to undo that hard-won progress for the 50th or 60th time with bills that would raise costs or reduce coverage… it is aggravating,” he said. “And all of this being done without any demonstrable economic or actuarial or plain common sense rationale.”

Obama added it was “frustrating to have to mobilize every couple months to keep our leaders from inflicting real human suffering on our constituents.”

“But typically, that’s how progress is won and how progress is maintained on every issue. We have to stand up for each other, recognize that progress is never inevitable.”
