On Friday, Martin Shkreli, also known as Pharma Bro, was convicted of three criminal charges of deceiving investors in hedge funds. The 34-year-old could be looking at up to 20 years in prison.
Shkreli was quite upset following hi conviction, calling the case against him a giant “witch hunt.”
“This was a witch hunt of epic proportions, and maybe they found one or two broomsticks,” said Shkreli. “But at the end of the day we’ve been acquitted of the most important charges of this case.”
