White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders argued with reporters on Tuesday during a press briefing after they asked multiple questions about the Russia investigation.
White House journalists were looking for answers after news broke out that special counsel Robert Mueller had interviewed former FBI chief James Comey and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
According to other reports, Mueller also wants to interview Donald Trump himself.
“As we’ve said just about every day, this year since we’ve been here we’re going to be fully cooperative with the special counsel,” Sanders said.
That’s when Sanders got irritated and responded saying:
“I think we all know what everybody in this room would do if the president did that,” she remarked. “I don’t think that is helpful to the process. The president wants to see this end and he wants to see them finally come to the same conclusion that I think most everyone in America has, that there is no collusion.”
Sanders also told the reporters they were “absolutely obsessed with anything to do with collusion.”
