Watch – Trump Completely Dismisses Dire Warnings From Climate Report: ‘I Don’t Believe It’
Donald Trump continues to show exactly how incompetent he really is. On Monday, while heading to a campaign rally for Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R) in Mississippi, Trump was asked about the dire consequences forecasted on the climate report released Friday.
Trump simply dismissed it by saying, “yeah, I don’t believe it.” He then added, “I’ve seen it, I’ve read some of it, and it’s fine.”
It’s actually not fine, not fine at all. According to the report, which is part of the fourth congressionally-mandated National Climate Assessment from the multi-agency Global Change Research Program, climate change could cost the United States billions of dollars annually within decades if greenhouse gases aren’t dramatically reduced.
“Without substantial and sustained global mitigation and regional adaptation efforts, climate change is expected to cause growing losses to American infrastructure and property and impede the rate of economic growth over this century,” it found.
