WATCH: Trump Rally Cheers When Republican Predicts Armageddon After Jerusalem Embassy Decision
While introducing President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida, Republican state Senator Douglas Broxson suggested that Trump’s controversial decision to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may usher in the biblical end times.
Broxson, who represents the Florida Panhandle in the legislature was in the middle of an introductory speech welcoming President Trump to Florida when he said this:
“Now, I don’t know about you, but when I heard about Jerusalem — where the King of Kings, where our soon coming King is coming back to Jerusalem, it is because President Trump declared Jerusalem to be capital of Israel,” as the crowd erupted in cheers.
That wasn’t the only jaw-dropping line of the speech.
Sen. Broxson then claimed Trump has “appointed 24 cabinet members that were the very best of the best, the brightest of the brightest.”
