Maxine Waters Confronts Trump Supporters Who Sent Her Death Threats: ‘If You Shoot At Me, You Better Shoot Straight’

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) received death threats from multiple Donald Trump supporters after she urged companies to stand up to the Trump administration and applauding the fact that White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service at the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia.

On Saturday, Waters took part in the “Families Belong Together” rally in Los Angeles where she confronted those threats.

“I know there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” she said.

“All I have to say is this: if you shoot me you better shoot straight, there’s nothing like a wounded animal,” Waters warned.
