Former Watergate prosecutor Nick Ackerman appeared on MSNBC on Thursday when he was asked by host Ari Melber about his opinion on former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon’s back-and-forth juggling on testifying before Congress and Mueller.
Ackerman was quick to point out how suspicious the whole situation is. He thinks Bannon’s claims of executive privilege are “extremely” suspicious as he’s claiming the protection for times before Donald Trump was sworn in as president.
“There’s no such thing a ‘president-elect privilege,’” he said. “I’m extremely skeptical, here. To me, it all looks like a coverup.”
