Weinstein Is Going Down, Report Reveals He Will Surrender On Sexual Assault Charges

A new report revealed on Thursday that former Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein is expected to surrender to New York City police on charges of sexual assault on Friday morning.

According to The New York Times, Weinstein is expected to be arrested on Friday morning after more than 70 women came out and accused the former producer of sexual misconduct, including rape.

Weinstein’s lawyer Benjamin Brafman was reached out for comment but refused to say anything over the report.

When victims first started coming out and exposing Weinstein for his sexual attacks, the former producer denied the allegations and said he never had non-consensual sex with anyone.

According to the New York Daily News, Weinstein will be charged over an allegation by at least one accuser, Lucia Evans, a former aspiring actress who told the New Yorker that Weinstein forced her to give him oral sex in 2004.
