WH Insider Reveals Trump Is Enraged At His FBI Director As The ‘Worst Mood Of His Presidency’ Begins
Donald Trump must be under a lot of stress, with multiple investigations involving his name continue to take place. According to a source who spoke with NBC News, Trump is beginning the “worst mood of his presidency” and he’s taking it out on his own cabinet.
Trump took this weekend to fire off an attack on his attorney general. But it appears that wasn’t the only person Trump was angry about. According to the source, Trump also bashed his FBI Director Chris Wray.
Trump, who claimed to hire “the best people,” “has been cautious about publicly criticizing the person he appointed after firing former FBI Director James Comey.”
The president is “in the worst mood of his presidency and calling friends and allies to vent about his selection of [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions and Wray,” a source familiar with the conversations told NBC News.
Trump has since begun “grouping Wray with Sessions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and the special counsel’s Russia investigation.”
