New acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, who has been under backlash for his right-wing extreme views, decided that he needed to make his verified Twitter account private.
According to reports, Whitaker decided to make his account private after reporters investigated his past statements which caused the backlash.

According to NBC News, by making his account private, he has protected his account and made it all but impossible for people who do not already follow him to see his tweets, which have come under scrutiny since his appointment on Wednesday.”
Whitaker has also been caught speaking against special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, saying that there’s no need for one because there was “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia.
