‘Where Are The Babies, Mitch?’ Group Of Protestors Confront McConnell As He Leaves Kentucky Restaurant: Watch
On Saturday, while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was leaving a restaurant in Kentucky, a group of protestors confronted the Republican lawmaker and threatened to vote him out of office.
According to The Courier-Journal, McConnell was leaving the Bristol Bar & Grille in Louisville when protestors demanded to know where the migrant children were after being separated from their families.
Video recordings of the encounter show other demonstrators chanting “Abolish ICE” and “No justice, no peace.”
“Where are the babies, Mitch?” a protester was recorded asking in a video, referring to the thousands of children that have been separated from their families due to the “zero tolerance” policy instated by the Trump administration.
According to the newspaper, McConnell did not acknowledge the protestors and drove away.
“We did good, fellow citizens,” a protester said as McConnell’s car pulled away.
