White House Calls For Hip Hop Boycott After Rapper Depicts Melania As Stripper In New Video
On Tuesday morning, as President Donald Trump was immersed in a Twitter bickering with adult film star Stormy Daniels, in which he called her “horseface” and Daniels making a ribald reference to his genitals, the spokesperson for Melania Trump was having a meltdown after a rapper depicted the first lady as a stripper in recently released video.
Stephanie Grisham, White House Director of Communications for Melania Trump, expressed shock and dismay at Rapper T.I.’s video of himself as a president in the Oval Office being entertained by a woman initially wearing a “I really don’t care, do u?” jacket.
“How is this acceptable? #disgusting #boycottT.I,” Grissom tweeted.
According to TMZ, Grisham later followed up with a clarification in a statement saying, “Like it or not, she is the First Lady and this is the White House. It’s disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics.”
She added: “These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country – it needs to stop.”
