White House Official Reveals Why Trump Has Remained Silent On Roy Moore Scandal
While Republican leaders in both houses have strongly condemned Roy Moore over allegations of sexual misconduct, President Donald Trump has been reluctant to address the sexual abuse scandal surrounding the Republican Senate candidate.
Well, a White House has claimed that Trump is hesitant because of accusations that he himself had sexually assaulted a number of women, CNN reports.
“He believes that some of his accusers were not exactly honest here and he is giving Roy Moore the benefit of the doubt,” CNN’s Jeff Zeleny explained.
“In some of the cases, not all of the cases,” he continued. “I’m told that is one of the reasons he does not want to weigh in here.”
Yes, Trump is afraid to talk about sexual harassment because he may shoot himself in the foot.
