White Woman Who Physically Assaulted Black Teen At Pool Just Got What She Deserved
Stephenie Sebby-Strempel, the white woman who is now known as “Pool Patrol Paula” on social media, has now been fired from the skincare company Rodan + Fields a week after she assaulted a black teenager at a community pool in South Carolina.
NBC News obtained a statement from the company claiming that they were parting ways with Sebby-Strempel.
“We do not condone violence of any kind and pride ourselves on embracing inclusion and acceptance of all,” Rodan + Fields also said in an earlier statement.
Sebby-Strempel was charged with third-degree assault after she confronted a 15-year-old boy and his friends at a community pool in Summerville, S.C., on June 24, according to an incident report.
Sebby-Strempel told the teens that they “didn’t belong” there and told them that they had to leave.
The 38-year-old woman was shortly arrested and charged with third-degree assault. While she was being arrested, Sebby-Strempel reportedly hit one of the police officers while biting another.
