PBS’ Yamiche Alcindor Fires Back At Donald Trump After His Racist Tirade

On Sunday, President Donald Trump went after respected PBS NewsHour reporter Yamiche Alcindor for asking a question today that he didn’t like during a press conference a the White House.
She held her ground even as Trump went off on her, referring to her as “you people” and telling her not to be “threatening.”
Now Alcindor is firing back:
“President Trump today at the White House said to me: ‘Be nice. Don’t be threatening.’ I’m not the first human being, woman, black person or journalist to be told that while doing a job,” she wrote on Twitter.
“My take: Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And, always press forward,” she added.
