On Wednesday Fox News decided that they were done with Bill O’Reilly and he had to go, according to a report by New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman.
21st Century Fox’s board is set so meet on Thursday to talk about how to end their relationship with O’Reilly “without causing collateral damage to the network,” the report stated.
“Very few in the business get to decide when and how things end. Media is most brutal of all industries,” Matt Drudge tweeted Tuesday referencing to O’Reilly.

On Tuesday multiple media outlets reported that sons of Fox News executive chairman Rupert Murdoch were considering to pull the O’Reilly Factor off the air.
With O’Reilly gone, the question now turns to who will replace the 21-year veteran of the network since its inception.
